Operations and Support

Our operations and support staff come from a range of technical backgrounds including electrical engineering, engineering management, project management, broadcast television, information system and technology, and mass communication. These diverse talent resources allow us to focus on a wide range of services, including live support for instructors and presenters during their programs, quality assurance, technical troubleshooting, and general operational assistance.
By focusing on this aspect of support we are able to enhance the overall quality of the finished product as the subject matter expert does not have to worry about the technology. During a class, meeting, or production, the instructor or presenter does not have to be concerned about fixing or adjusting audio levels, or when to cue a DVD, or why a learner at a distant location can't hear them. All this is handled and resolved 'behind the scenes' leaving the instructor free to focus on delivery of their content, on pedagogy and androgogy, on interaction and dialog - they are free to focus on instruction not the technology.A sampling of these operations a support resources available include:
- Live staff monitoring programs and available for assistance
- Ten onsite classrooms and conference rooms of various sizes
- A central 'Master Control Room' serving as the nerve center of the facility
- Remote support of studio classrooms and conference rooms
- Troubleshooting and resolution of technical concerns
- Technical 'concierge' services available, including wireless Internet, PC workstations, fax machines/copiers, printers, telephones, and UPS/FedEx/USPS services.
