Faculty Development Lab

A full service computer lab facility is dedicated to create and improve the abilities of new instructors and to sharpen the skills of existing faculty.This includes regularly scheduled beginner, intermediate, and advanced courses on web development, Blackboard (the University's learning management system), podcasting, PowerPoint, multimedia development, and how to transition pedagogy and androgogy from a traditional to a distance learning environment.

The Faculty Development Lab is available for faculty to use during the business hours of the University. Faculty members can receive support from the staff in the use of software available for helping them to manage their courses and course materials.
