Live technical operational and technical support for all programs

Control room staff are available for all distance learning classes.These technical specialists support the instructors and participants from the classroom studio's control room for the duration of the class.From the control room, the operators have access to all of the classroom's video and audio sources, and monitoring and control of the distribution path (videoconferencing codecs, Internet video encoders, and/or digital satellite video encoders).Thus the instructor does not have to worry about why a microphone is not working at a remote location, or why the picture looks fuzzy at another, or how to cue up and select the classroom DVD player, or how to operate the fax machine - all of the technical aspects of the class are handled by the control room staff.By making resolution of technical issues transparent to the instructors and students, faculty can concentrate on their primary objectives; instruction, dialog, interaction, and not on the various technology and its complexities.
