Remote Classrooms

165 mediated classrooms, located throughout Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, Arizona, California, Washington state,

Sony and Panasonic 36" CRT monitors

Most distance learning classrooms are equipped with multiple 36" monitors to maximize viewing angles.

Samsung 46 & 50" LCD & Plasma displays

Older 36" standard definition monitors are now being replaced with new high resolution displays as older classroom systems reach the end of their equipment life cycles.

ATP push-to-talk Microphone

Each desk in every classroom is equipped with student 'push to talk' microphones for interactivity with other students and the instructor.

ODU/X-Analog Call Setup Units (VoIP)

Each desktop microphone sends is audio to a custom Voice over Internet Protocol system that encodes microphone audio into digital packets, and transmits those packets back to the instructor's classroom, where the instructor and other students are able to hear and continue the conversations.
