I missed a TELETECHNET class in the Gornto building. Is there any way to see a recording of the lecture?
Yes, arrangements can be made to either view the lecture in our viewing center, or for a nominal fee, request a copy of the lecture on DVD media. Contact Fred Huffman, Multimedia Duplication and Viewing Manager, at (757) 683-5173.

Where is my classroom?
If you registered for classes in the Gornto TELETECHNET center your classroom will likely be on the 2nd floor, at the beginning of a new semester signs are posted and the daily schedule is available on the hallway lobby display, if you are still having trouble finding your class please do not hesitate to ask a member of our staff for help!

My class is experiencing trouble, such as low audio or fuzzy video? where do I go for help?
All distance learning classes and events are monitored from the control room, Gornto room 206, if you experience any technical trouble during your class please do not hesitate to notify our staff who will promptly look for a solution.

How do I connect my laptop or computer notebook to the campus wireless network?
The Gornto building and classrooms have access points for wireless Internet connectivity for your PC or Apple laptops and notebooks, for more information on how to access our network please visit OCCS' web site for instructions.

I need to print out my syllabus or class assignment?
Full service computer labs are located in the Perry Library and BAL lecture hall for your convenience, for other locations of student computer labs.

Where do I drop off assignments if my instructor is off-site or broadcasting from another location?
For your convenience a locked drop box is located in front of the control room across from the elevator, please be sure to fill out a cover sheet so our shipping staff know where to send your material.
