How do I get started? What's first?

  • First, students should apply to the university through Admissions.
  • It is recommended that students notify site staff (or main campus if not near a site) of the intent to apply to Old Dominion University.  This will allow us to help you through the process and to get to know you!

When should I speak to an advisor?

  • Students should make an appointment to speak to an advisor as soon as they receive acceptance notification from the admissions office. Site directors serve as advisors for students, however, if you are not at a site, you will be advised by main campus.  Please refer to the site director page for more information and contact numbers.

How do I apply for graduation?

  • This is done through the Registrar's office website.  Please follow their instructions, based on your student level (undergraduate or graduate).
