Interactive Television

Interactive television courses are broadcast from Old Dominion's main campus in Norfolk, Va. by satellite to nearly 50 distance learning locations. Students meet in a traditional classroom at a distant site location where the broadcast is received, and must be present at the site at the specific class time. With 1-way video/2-way audio, students see the broadcast and can speak with the instructor and other students across the country in real time.  The virtual classroom experience is available at a limited number of locations.
