MEM: NCPACE Tuition and Book Ordering
Tuition Payment
NOTE ON TUITION: Effective June 1, 2008 the tuition rate for MEM CD-ROM courses is $397.00 per credit hour. For NCPACE students who are officially registered through their command, tuition is paid by the Navy. NCPACE students should not receive tuition bills. If an NCPACE student receives a tuition bill, they should contact the Military Distance Learning Program Office.
All students are issued an Old Dominion University email account upon admission to the University. Administrative offices may send important mail to this address. You can verify the accuracy of your accounts, or check grade posting. via the Internet. You must activate your account in order to use it. You can access your student accounts via the Internet through Leo-Online.

Textbooks
Students may purchase required textbooks and other course materials from the NCPACE contractor when they register for each MEM course. The course materials generally consist of the CD-ROMs and course guides.
If textbooks and course materials cannot be obtained from the NCPACE contractor, students can order from Missouri Book Store (MBS). Orders may be placed by phone or via the web. Students should indicate which courses they are registered for and MBS will ship the materials to the address specified. Contact MBS online or by phone at:
Students may pay by VISA, Master Card, Discover, or American Express. (Personal checks accepted via phone orders).
The virtual bookstore can be accessed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and there is a 20% discount on UPS air shipping.
Used books may be available through MBS at a savings of about 25 percent.
Materials are delivered via UPS by one of three methods: Ground, Second Day Air, or Next Day Air. Students pay the current UPS rate based on weight of the package and where the package is being shipped. (FedEx and Priority Mail are also available).
Textbook buyback policies can be found at the MBS web site. MBS will send a check directly to you for the value of any books they purchase from you in buyback. A prepaid shipping label will be included for your convenience in returning the books for resale.
Currently, MBS is not accepting requests to buy back CD-ROMs and course materials.
