Distance Learning Sites To Host Open House March 28, 2006

Old Dominion University's distance learning sites in Virginia, Georgia, Illinois, Arizona and Washington state will host open houses on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, providing information about undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs available in their respective communites through distance learning.

"Distance learning allows students to earn advanced degrees and stay in their home communities, " said Dr. Edith Barnett, Associate Vice President for Distance Learning at Old Dominion University. "Those who are juggling the needs of family and work while pursuing their higher education goals appreciate the convenience of taking classes close to home."

Old Dominion will waive its $40 application fee for qualified, degree-seeking distance learning students who submit a completed application during the open house.
