Army Students: New Guidelines for Tuition Assistance as of April 1, 2006

The Army has announced that effective April 1, 2006, all requests for Tuition Assistance (TA) must be submitted and processed online through the Army's Continuing Education System (ACES) portal. Paper copies of TA requests for soldiers will no longer be processed by Army Education offices or the ODU Office of Finance.

For more information, soldiers should go to their nearest Army Education Center, or check the Army's web site: http://www.goarmyed.com. New and continuing ODU students in the Military Career Transition Program are encouraged to contact their program advisor before registering for classes if they intend to use TA. All other soldiers seeking TA and enrolling at ODU starting with the Summer 2006 term, should visit an ODU office at their nearest military installation or send email to armycollege@odu.edu These soldiers will not be able to process their TA requests online until we load their courses into the system.
