'Tis the Season: ODU Students at Danville Community College Adopt Family

Old Dominion University Distance Learning students on the campus of Danville Community College sponsored a Danville-area family for Christmas. ODU staff, students, Boscov's employees, and families of Children First Daycare donated items to the family. Items were delivered on December 9 to the family by ODU students in the Human Services Counseling, Criminal Justice, and Occupational Technical Studies programs. Approximately $2,000 worth of clothing, toys, food, and personal items were collected for the family, along with a small Christmas tree.
