Overview
The Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Executive program is designed to prepare the top level nurse executive for a health system. Content focuses on executive leadership skills, working with vulnerable populations, fiscal and human resource management, quality magnet achievement, emerging technology and organizational research in clinical issues.
Note: Students participate in executive internships throughout the program in their home area. However, students are required to come to an ODU campus in the Hampton Roads area once a semester for a long weekend for advising and experiential activities.
