Develop practical skills in the areas of real estate, investments, banking, and other types of financial institutions.
This minor requires you to complete FIN 323 Intro to Financial Management, FIN 431 Investments, and FIN 432 Intermediate Financial Management; and two courses selected from FIN 433, 434, 435, or 439. Each course is three credit hours.
Courses are offered in this technology:
Online Asynchronous: Access course materials online from any location. These courses require little to no synchronous (same-time) scheduled class meetings, but assignments and exams are scheduled by the instructor. All courses follow ODU's regular academic calendar.
Online synchronous: Access course material online from any location and participate in live, regularly scheduled online class meetings.
This minor can only be completed as part of an undergraduate degree from ODU. You will need to be accepted into ODU as an undergraduate degree-seeking student.
All ODU undergraduate distance learning programs are degree completion / transfer programs.
