Any organizational function requires planning, organizing, leadership and control. Whenever a group of people are involved in goal attainment, management is needed.
This major is designed to develop a student’s understanding of management as both an art and a science along with those administrative skills necessary for positions of leadership and responsibility. Management is a particularly good choice for people who have varied or broad interests and who would like to accomplish tasks through participation with others.
