  • Instructional Design & Technology Master's Required Courses

    • 30-36 credit hours

    Your required courses for this program will cover topics such as:

    • instructional design
    • applied cognition
    • distance education
    • evaluation and assessment
    • quantitative and qualitative research.

    You also will choose electives in your area of interest.

  • Online Learning Environment

    Participate in live, regularly scheduled online class meetings and access course materials online from any location. All courses follow ODU's regular academic calendar.

    This program does not lead to licensure in secondary education. GRE or MAT is required. Admission decisions are based on several criteria including GPA (undergraduate and any graduate work) and GRE or MAT scores.
