Blackboard

Blackboard is a course management product utilized in a majority of Distance Learning courses at Old Dominion University. Use of this product enables somewhat of a "one-stop shop" on the Internet for instructors and students. Common functions that can be performed in Blackboard include: (1) course announcements; (2) web site for syllabus and course materials; (3) grade book; (4) calendar; (5) drop box for electronic assignments; (6) organizational tasks; (7) quizzes online; (8) discussion board; and, (9) tracking course statistics.
