New Student Orientation
Below are individual video clips of orientation topics. These are helpful for new students in Distance Learning to learn about the various requirements and resources at Old Dominon University. In addition, students who are already taking classes through Distance Learning may find it helpful to bookmark this page for future reference.
There are two ways to view the orientation. One is via a podcast that requires Apple's iTunes to view. These videos can be downloaded via ODU on iTunes U (note, you do not have to own an ipod to view them- they can be viewed from the iTunes website directly).
The second way is via video streaming and requires RealPlayer. These videos are below:
